Trade turnover between Armenia and Georgia saw significant growth in January–October 2024, reaching $273.8 million, a 27% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to the Statistical Committee, Armenian exports to Georgia during the reporting period amounted to $140.8 million, up by 17.9%. Meanwhile, imports of Georgian goods into Armenia grew even more dynamically - by over 38% - reaching nearly $133 million compared to $96 million a year earlier.
However, the total volume of goods imported through Georgia (regardless of their country of origin) into Armenia declined by 16.3%, from $773 million to $647 million during the first ten months of 2024.
As of the end of the reporting period, Georgia's share in Armenia's total foreign trade turnover stood at 1%.
