On Friday, May 3, in Yerevan, the official presentation of the first large-scale state platform for job search and offerings took place - https://e-work.am/.

The new platform, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, aims to establish connections between employers and those seeking employment, consolidate job vacancies available in the republic, and facilitate contact between the government, employers, and job seekers.

During the event, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan delivered a welcome speech. Emphasizing the importance of such platforms in the field of employment, he noted that they provide people with the opportunity to find stable employment corresponding to their professional skills.

"In essence, this is the first state platform of such scale, offering new opportunities in the digital sphere for job seekers and employers. I hope that we will succeed in this endeavor, and the created platform will be effective. I also hope that e-work.am will become a truly operational platform, providing citizens with the opportunity to find work, which is the focus of our efforts," emphasized the minister.

The "e-work.am" platform provides the opportunity for those seeking employment and employers to interact with each other and with the government in the digital environment, as well as to receive and offer digital services. This will enable individuals to improve working conditions and advance their careers.

Earlier, it was reported that unemployment in Armenia decreased from 13% (in 2022) to 11% by the end of 2023.
