During a recent working visit to Latvia, Armenia's Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, visited the innovative company EggEnergy, which specializes in the development of circular economy practices.

This visit opened new opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries in the field of sustainable development.

EggEnergy caught the attention of the Armenian delegation with its advanced technologies in alternative energy. The company annually produces 10 million cubic meters of biogas, using poultry manure as raw material. In addition to biogas, the company also produces organic fertilizers, showcasing an efficient zero-waste production approach.

Minister Papoyan praised the potential of applying such technologies in Armenia. Following the visit, an agreement was reached for a reciprocal visit of EggEnergy representatives to Armenia, scheduled for September of this year. The purpose of this visit will be to establish cooperation and explore the possibilities of integrating Latvian technologies into the Armenian economy.

The press service of Armenia’s Ministry of Economy emphasized the importance of this collaboration for the development of the circular economy in the country.
