At one of Europe’s most prestigious international food and beverage exhibitions, Armenian producers are demonstrating their export potential. The national pavilion features products from 23 companies, many of which represent small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to the press service of Armenia’s Ministry of Economy, the 60th SIAL International Food and Beverage Exhibition began in Paris on October 19, with Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Economy, Narek Ovakimyan, attending the event on October 21.

SIAL is one of the largest events in Europe’s food industry, held every two years in Paris, and annually attracts over 250,000 visitors. This year, 7,500 companies from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia are participating.

Notably, 11 small and medium-sized agribusinesses from Armenia are participating as part of the 'Building Sustainable Value Chains in Apparel and Agribusiness in Armenia' program, implemented by the International Trade Centre and funded by the European Union.

The exhibition will continue until October 23.
