The Armenian State Property Management Committee has introduced a draft legislative reform on the e-draft legal platform, aimed at simplifying and regulating the processes for leasing state-owned property.

The proposed legislation seeks to implement straightforward and transparent procedures for leasing property, removing existing legal barriers. According to the draft, state property leases will follow a government-approved procedure designed to prevent misuse of public assets.

"All improvements made during the use of state property will be considered the property of the founding entity," the draft states.

The proposed changes aim to enhance the efficient use of state property, reduce the number of unused spaces, and make the leasing process more accessible to all interested parties.

The draft places special emphasis on safeguarding state interests in the use and modernization of property, as well as clarifying leasing procedures for organizations with government participation.
