Armenian Airlines has announced the launch of a new regular flight service between the capitals of Armenia and Georgia. Starting December 28, the carrier will operate flights on the Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan route five times a week.

According to the airline, flights will be scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Experts believe that the introduction of regular flights between the two capitals will significantly simplify travel between the countries and foster the development of business and tourism ties between Armenia and Georgia.

BMG notes that currently, at least three airlines operate direct flights between Yerevan and Tbilisi, and Armenian Airlines will become a new player in this market.

Armenian Airlines, based at Zvartnots International Airport, Resumes Flights from Yerevan to Moscow, Mineralnye Vody, Sochi, Ufa, Kazan, and Volgograd.

In addition to Russian destinations, the airline will operate flights to the capital of India and a Georgian resort city.

In the long term, the company, founded in 2022, plans to expand its route network by launching flights to Egypt, countries in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
