Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has accepted an invitation from his Georgian counterpart, Maka Bochorishvili, to visit Tbilisi. Mirzoyan announced this during a joint press conference with the Georgian Foreign Minister in Yerevan on January 30, as part of the working visit of a delegation led by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
"I am very pleased to welcome you and the delegation you lead to Armenia today. Of course, we have had the opportunity to meet before at various international platforms. I am delighted to host you today and equally pleased to accept your invitation to visit Tbilisi," Mirzoyan stated during his meeting with Bochorishvili.
The date of the Armenian Foreign Minister’s upcoming visit to Georgia has not yet been specified.
