Armenian-German intergovernmental consultations commence in Yerevan

On Wednesday, June 19, the latest round of Armenian-German intergovernmental consultations on financial and technical cooperation began in Yerevan.

According to the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the meeting was attended by Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Ovakimyan, German Ambassador Viktor Richter, and representatives of government agencies and international organizations.

Participants discussed a wide range of issues, including the progress and prospects of existing cooperation programs between the two countries.

"Further steps to expand bilateral cooperation in areas such as long-term and sustainable economic development, agriculture, environmental protection and energy, vocational education, high technology, tourism, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, and other fields were discussed," the statement said.
