On October 31, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan announced a new support program for exporters during the 2025 state budget discussion in the parliamentary commission on financial and budgetary issues.
According to the minister, the government will cover 50% of the costs incurred by local producers for certifying products intended for export markets.
“The cost of these certificates can reach tens of thousands of dollars, and often multiple certifications are required for a single product, depending on the number of components involved. The government is prepared to share these substantial business expenses with entrepreneurs,” Papoyan emphasized.
Additionally, in certain cases, the government is ready to partially reimburse logistical expenses for businesses entering new markets.
The principal decision on support measures has been made, and the details of the mechanism will be outlined in an upcoming government decree.
