On August 23, Armenia's Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, visited "Itex," one of the largest textile enterprises in the Lori region, as part of a working trip.

"Itex" is an Armenian-Italian company established in 2022 by the Italian firm "SARTIS." In a short period, the company has become a significant player in Armenia's textile industry, providing jobs for 1,115 employees.

The enterprise specializes in producing clothing for renowned global brands such as Moncler, Dainese, and MACKAGE. "Itex" products, labeled "Made in Armenia," are exported to Italy and then distributed worldwide.

Currently, the factory operates 18 production lines equipped with modern technology. The company’s management shared their plans with the minister to expand production to 24 lines in the near future.

During the visit, Minister Papoyan briefed the "Itex" leadership on the government's textile industry policies and programs aimed at developing the sector.
