On April 5, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with a delegation led by Don Lambert, Director of the Asian Development Bank's Resident Mission in Armenia.
According to the Ministry's press service, Gevorg Papoyan highly appreciated the efforts of the Asian Development Bank aimed at developing key sectors of Armenia's economy.
The meeting discussed current programs and prospects for cooperation between Armenia and the Asian Development Bank. Special attention was paid to issues such as increasing food security in the face of climate change, developing value-added chains in agriculture, and stimulating the private sector.
It is noted that the parties also exchanged views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
