The Armenian Stock Exchange has released a report on its July 2024 performance, revealing significant growth across several key indicators.
According to the exchange's press service, the volume of auctions for government bonds in July reached an impressive 58.5 billion AMD (over 150 million USD).
The corporate bond market showed substantial growth of 28.89% compared to July of the previous year, reaching a volume of 542 billion AMD (around 1.4 billion USD). The trading volume of corporate bonds increased by 70%, amounting to 4.75 billion AMD (over 12 million USD).
A particularly impressive growth was observed in the REPO transactions segment, where the total volume reached 5.7 billion AMD (over 14 million USD), representing a 123% increase over the same period last year.
The stock market also demonstrated positive dynamics. The trading volume of stocks grew by 13%, totaling more than 98.5 million AMD (around 250 thousand USD). Market capitalization reached 319 billion AMD (over 820 million USD). A total of 156 stock transactions were completed in the month.
