Armenia's foreign trade turnover reached $28.18 billion from January to November 2024, marking a 54% increase compared to the same period last year. However, a sharp decline was recorded in November both on a monthly and annual basis, according to the country's Statistical Committee.
Preliminary statistical data indicate that in November, foreign trade turnover fell by 27.4% year-on-year and 15.6% compared to October 2024.
Exports from Armenia grew by 73.9% year-on-year during the January-November 2024 period, amounting to $12.31 billion. However, November exports dropped by 35% year-on-year and 19.6% compared to the previous month.
Imports for the eleven-month period reached $15.87 billion, showing a 41.5% increase compared to the same period in 2023. In November, imports declined by 21.4% year-on-year and 12.8% compared to October.
