In August of this year, Armenia’s real estate market showed positive dynamics compared to the same period last year.
According to official data, the total number of real estate transactions reached 20,178, which is 5% higher than in August of last year. However, compared to the previous month, there was a slight decline of 6.5%.
The growth is particularly notable in the real estate sales segment. In August, 4,822 such transactions were registered, exceeding last year’s figures by 8.4%. Nevertheless, compared to July of this year, there was a slight decrease of 2.4%.
Armenia’s capital, Yerevan, continues to see rising property prices. The average cost of apartments in multi-story buildings increased by 8.2% compared to August of last year and by 0.3% compared to July of this year.
The rental market also showed positive trends. During the period under review, 852 rental agreements were signed, which is 6.6% more than the same time last year.
