The Ministry of Finance of Armenia has published data on the execution of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for January-March 2024.
According to the report, the revenues of the state budget for this period amounted to 525 billion drams ($1.3 billion), which is 93.2% of the planned indicators according to the revised program for the first quarter. Compared to the same period last year, revenues increased by 8.6%, or approximately 41.4 billion drams ($105 million).
Expenditures of the state budget for January-March 2024 amounted to 525.9 billion drams ($1.3 billion), ensuring the fulfillment of the revised program for the first quarter at the level of 82.5%. Compared to the same period last year, expenditures increased by 24.4%, or 103.2 billion drams ($250 million).
The state budget of Armenia for this period closed with a deficit of 868.6 million drams ($2.15 million), which differs from the planned deficit of 74.4 billion drams (over $170 million) and the surplus of 60.9 billion drams ($150 million) for the same period last year.
