For the first quarter of 2024, the tax authorities of Armenia received revenues amounting to 500.6 billion drams (over $1.25 billion), which is 59.8 billion drams (over $120 million) or 13.6% more than the same period last year. This was reported by the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia.

According to the published data, the customs authority received revenues of 88.6 billion drams ($220 million) for the same period. This is 25.5 billion drams (over $60 million) or 22.4% less than in the same period last year. The SRC notes that the decrease in revenues provided by the customs authorities is due to the reduction in the volume of imports of various goods.

In total, for the first quarter of 2024, tax and customs authorities collected 589.2 billion drams ($1.5 billion). However, about 88.6 billion drams (over $120 million) were returned to taxpayers and individuals.
