According to Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, Armenia’s trade volume with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries exceeded $9 billion from January to August 2024, doubling the figure from the same period in 2023.
Speaking to journalists at the National Assembly, Minister Papoyan presented detailed statistics on Armenia's external trade turnover with EAEU partners. The data revealed that Armenia’s exports to EAEU countries in the first eight months of this year slightly surpassed $2.052 billion.
Meanwhile, imports from EAEU countries to Armenia were significantly higher, amounting to over $7.1 billion. As a result, the total trade turnover reached a record $9 billion, marking a twofold increase compared to the same period last year.
