In the first half of 2025, international visitors to Georgia spent an average of $701 per trip, according to the National Bank of Georgia.
Total tourism revenue reached $1.97 billion, marking a 3.8% year-on-year increase, with 2.81 million international visits recorded—a 4.6% rise from the same period last year.
Despite Russians making the highest number of visits (581,000), their average spending was relatively low at $529 per visit, totaling $308 million.
Visitors from the EU ranked second in total spending, with 202,000 visitors spending an average of $1,371 each.
Israeli tourists topped the spending chart, with an average of $1,412 per visitor.
By contrast, Armenian visitors had the lowest average spend at just $169, while Turkish tourists spent around $484 per trip.
