Avocado imports to Georgia increased by 12.2%.
According to Geostat, in the first 10M24, the country purchased 1,471 tons of avocados worth $3.4 million. While in the same period last year, Georgia paid $2.2 million for 1,310 tons of avocados.
As for the main importing country, the Netherlands leads the ranking, from which the country purchased 591 tons of avocados worth more than $2 million.
