In January-May of the current year, 1 444, 6 kilograms of gold was produced in Azerbaijan and this is 0, 8 percent more compared with the same period of 2020, according to the report of State Statistics Committee, APA-Economics reports.
In May, 317, 4 kilograms of gold were produced and this is 6, 6% more compared to April.
As for exports, in January-April of this year, Azerbaijan has exported gold worth USD 64, 6 million.
The total worth of gold export in the same months of 2020 amounted to USD 43, 7 million. Export of gold increased by 47, 8% this year.
