Since the commencement of commercial production on June 30, 2018, and up until December 1, 2024, a total of 66.6 billion cubic meters of gas have been produced under the Shah Deniz-2 project, BMG reports, citing Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR).
According to the company, the total condensate production during this period amounted to 11.5 million tons.
On December 17, 2013, the Shah Deniz Consortium signed the final investment decision for the second phase of the development of the Shah Deniz gas and condensate field, located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
