Baia’s Wine will be sold in China. As Baia Abuladze, the founder of the company, told bm.ge, 1200 bottles will be sent for export at the first stage, and the quantity will increase according to the demand.
"We will export 1200 bottles to China. In addition, we are negotiating with Denmark and in the near future we will export up to 600 bottles on that market. Export opportunities are very important for small production like ours, both in terms of sales and promotion," said the founder of Baia’s Wine.
The winery is located in Baghdati and its annual production capacity totals to about 18,000 bottles of wine. Products are exported in 15 countries, including Singapore, South Korea, Japan and the USA.
The winery owns a total of 18 hectares of land area, although the full part of the production has not been developed yet.
As for the price, "Baia’s Wine" is sold at USD 9 on the international markets.
