"Baia's Wine" is expanding its exporting markets this year. The founder of the winery, Baia Abuladze, stated that at the end of the year, the company plans to switch to new capacities.
"Late this year we will be able to transfer our winery to new capacities. In addition, we plan to enter many interesting markets in 2024, including Turkey. We also have a very interesting offer from Denmark. I hope it will be a busy year," said Baia Abuladze, noting that "Baia's wine" is currently sold in seven EU countries.
"We had a very good start with Austria. At the initial stage, we exported 88 bottles, but today the exporting volume is significantly up. Besides Austria, the exporting volume has increased to Germany, Norway and other EU countries," - the winemaker added.
The founder of "Baia's Wine" also talks about the challenges in the process of operation and notes that they faced many challenges at the initial stage. The reason for this was that they had to find a reliable partner in different countries, this process is still ongoing. According to her, international and local exhibitions played an important role in finding new partners.
"Baia's Wine" has been operating on the market since 2015 and offers 7 types of wine to customers. The company's factory is located in Baghdati, and its annual production volume is about 18,000 bottles of wine.
