Batumi Home Sales Reach USD 81 MLN in March as Prices and Transactions Rise

Batumi’s residential real estate market saw a notable increase in activity in March 2026, - according to the report published by Recov.ge on the official site of Colliers Georgia. The number of apartment transactions rose by 10.9% compared to March of last year, reaching 1,227 units. The total value of sold apartments and houses increased even more significantly - by 33.4%, reaching USD 81 million.

Property prices continued to climb as well. The average price of newly built apartments in Batumi increased by 9% year-over-year, reaching USD 1,302 per square meter. Prices rose by 8.6% on the primary market and by 7.5% on the secondary market, indicating strong demand across both segments.

Mortgage lending also strengthened. According to the National Bank of Georgia, 595 mortgage loans were issued in Adjara in March 2026, totaling 52.1 million GEL. This represents a 21.7% increase in the number of mortgages issued and a 16.7% rise in total loan volume.

Overall, the data reflects continued growth in Batumi’s real estate sector, driven by rising demand, increasing prices, and expanding mortgage activity.
