Batumi Real Estate Market Active Over Summer – Bochorishvili

ბათუმი

Batumi real estate market remained active throughout the summer of 2025, according to Nato Bochorishvili, President of the Georgian National Real Estate Association. She noted that demand came largely from buyers in neighboring and Gulf countries.

“The Adjara real estate market was active in the summer. A considerable number of transactions were recorded in Batumi, particularly in the New Boulevard district. While we do not yet have official statistics, information from our member companies indicates that interest remained stable,” Bochorishvili said on the TV program Real Estate Prospect.

Despite the activity, apartment prices in Batumi have remained stable, with no significant increase reported. Bochorishvili emphasized that price growth is unlikely this year, suggesting the market will maintain its current pace.

Batumi continues to attract foreign buyers, particularly from post-Soviet countries and the Gulf region. Domestic buyers are also active, though Bochorishvili noted they tend to invest more around the New Year season rather than during the summer.

Alongside Batumi, Kobuleti is also seeing growing activity, with new projects being launched that are expected to generate more transactions in the near future.
