In 2022, brewery "Efes Georgia" invested GEL 15 million for launching the production of glass bottles.
Nikoloz Khundzakishvili, director of corporate affairs of the company named 2 main reasons for the start of the production of glass bottles. According to him, on the one hand the entire industry is trying to switch to glass bottles, while on the other hand, this is done to protect the environment. In addition, he notes, that during the exports the main demand is for glass and aluminum bottles.
The head of the company notes that 2022 was a good year for the company and the industry. According to him, the entire industry, as well as "Efes Georgia", grew by 7-8%.
"We have fully regained the situation lost during the pandemic in 2022. We are following the growth outlined in our plan for three years from 2019 and it has practically been achieved, in numbers it amounts to 125 million liters, which is the best indicator of all time in Georgia", - Nikoloz Khundzakishvili noted.
According to him, in 2023 the sales of "Efes Georgia" will increase by at least 10%.
