The First Deputy Minister of Finance, Giorgi Kakauridze presented a 9-month report on the implementation of the 2022 state budget of Georgia at the Committee Meeting.
According to Kakauridze, the average real growth of the gross domestic product for the nine months of 2022 was 10.2% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. As of him, the inflation rate in Georgia amounted to 11.5% in September 2022 compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (annual inflation), and for the same period, the average inflation is at the level of 12.6%.
According to him, during the reporting period, foreign trade turnover in Georgia amounted to USD 13,612.2 million, which was 35.3% more compared to the corresponding rate of the previous year. As for trade with EU countries, it increased by 37.2% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, and imports by 30.4%. As of him, remittances have also increased by 72.9%.
Giorgi Kakauridze has noted, that the number of visitors has increased by 199.1% compared to the same data last year. In the combined budget, the revenues have exceeded by 107.8%.
As of Giorgi Kakauridze, the state budget payments were determined at GEL 19,171,069.0 thousand. The speaker also talked about the budget spending by the institutions and noted that this figure stood at 90% in most cases.
