Business Media Georgia (BMG) continues its global expansion strategy, establishing a new bureau in Azerbaijan following its successful venture into the United States of America.

In a move signaling BMG's commitment to broadening its international reach, the media powerhouse has inaugurated a representative office in Azerbaijan, further solidifying its presence on the regional stage.

The Baku bureau will be headed by journalist Sadraddin Aghjayev, s.agdzaev@bm.ge . Expressing his well-wishes for Aghjayev, Giorgi Isakadze, BMG's General Producer, highlighted the journalist's familiarity with BMG's operational intricacies and his extensive experience within the realm of business media. Isakadze expressed confidence that Aghjayev, alongside his colleagues, would play a pivotal role in bolstering BMG's regional growth and news coverage.

BMG's expansion into Azerbaijan signifies a strategic move to cater to a broader audience, providing news about the economy and business of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and the wider region. The news coverage will be made available in English, Turkish, and Russian languages, reflecting BMG's commitment to inclusivity and reaching diverse audiences.

Giorgi Isakadze, in outlining BMG's future trajectory, revealed plans to open a bureau in Armenia by the end of the year. He emphasized that this expansion aligns with BMG's vision of transforming into a fully-fledged international news agency in 2023. Isakadze anticipates that this evolution will allow BMG to continue disseminating business and economic news from Georgia, the broader region, and the world, now in four languages – Georgian, English, Turkish, and Russian.

"As we progress towards becoming an international news agency, BMG remains a premier news hub and a reliable source for economic news in the region," asserted Giorgi Isakadze. He underscored the unique opportunity for Georgian businesses to showcase their local and international activities to the global business community through BMG's representatives, given the agency's multilingual approach.

Currently, BMG provides news in English, Turkish, and Russian languages, in addition to its native Georgian content. The media outlet boasts a substantial online readership, with over 7.4 million unique readers per year, according to Google Analytics data from 2022. This expansion into Azerbaijan marks another significant milestone in BMG's trajectory as it continues to serve as a dynamic and influential player in the global business media landscape.
