Cars have risen in price by 17% from January to March in Kazakhstan, said Anar Makasheva, vice-president of the Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business.
“There are a lot of questions related to the cost of vehicles in Kazakhstan. According to the Bureau of National Statistics, the average increase in the cost of vehicles was about 17% in January-March 2022 in Kazakhstan, depending on the model. Our manufacturers and official representatives managed to restrain contain the growth in prices over the world,” Makasheva said.
According to her, at the end of 2021, sales of new cars by official dealers amounted to more than 117 thousand cars, and sales growth in the market amounted to about 26% compared to the previous period, KazTag reports.
