In April 2024, the construction volume in Armenia reached 35.5747 billion drams (over $90 million), and from January to April, it totaled 107.7701 billion drams (over $277 million). This represents an increase of 17.8% and 13.7% respectively compared to the same period last year.
According to the data, a significant portion of construction activities in April 2024 was related to real estate (52.1%), transport (14.1%), education (8.7%), and electricity, gas supply, steam and enhanced air conditioning (4.5%).
The main source of funding for construction works in Armenia during the period under review came from organizations and businesses. The construction volumes financed by organizations amounted to 13.7893 billion drams (over $35 million), which is 28.9% less compared to the same period last year.
