Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze declares, that implementation of Tbilisi Central Park project on the territory of former hippodrome will start on October 19, 2020. Its completion is planned within 2 years.
According to the City Hall, the project will be implemented by CARTU FOUNDATION, which has handed over the territory of the former hippodrome to Tbilisi Municipality free of charge.
A multifunctional space is planned on the area, which includes botanical, Japanese and French gardens, amphitheater, fountain, Skate Park, forest zone, educational center, meadow, zip line, sports and food courts.
