Consumer prices in Armenia rose by 5.2% in January-May 2023 as compared to the first five months of 2022, according to numbers, released by the National Statistical Committee (NSC).
At the same time, a decrease of 1.8% was registered in May of the reporting year as compared to April of the same year and a 1.3% increase as compared to May of the last year.
According to the NSC, the prices of industrial goods in the first five months of 2023 were down 1.6% compared to the same period of 2022. At the same time in May this year, the prices of industrial goods were down 3.6% compared to May last year.
According to the National Statistical Committee, Armenia's economic activity in January-May 2023 registered an increase of 12.5% compared to January-May 2022.
