Deposits and loans in commercial banks saw a slight increase in May, primarily driven by the growth of funds denominated in Armenian drams.

The total amount of deposits increased by 3.2% in May, compared to a slight growth of 0.4% in April. This was driven by a 3.4% increase in deposits in drams.
Loans also increased by 2.2%, primarily due to a 2% growth in loans denominated in drams.
