Georgia’s domestic exports increased by 62.6% in the first six months of 2026, reaching $2.39 billion, according to official statistics. As a result, the share of local exports in total exports rose to 61.7%, compared with 45.6% during the same period last year.
Georgia’s total exports of goods, excluding undeclared exports, amounted to $3.88 billion in January–June 2026, representing a 20% annual increase. Increased shipments of oil and petroleum products largely drove the growth in the share of local exports.
The top ten export destinations accounted for 65.8% of Georgia’s total local exports during the period. The largest export partners were China, Russia, and Turkey.
Due to the rise in petroleum product exports, Senegal also appeared among Georgia’s export destinations in the six-month trade data, reflecting changes in the country’s export structure.
