“It is obvious that scenes of disturbed citizens staged for the media are part of a well-organized politically motivated campaign implemented on behalf of Europe,” Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili posted on Facebook.
According to the Speaker, the donors turn a blind eye to political extremism attempting to norm the terror.
“Just in the last few days, the employees of three non-governmental organizations, financed from the EU budget:
– Threatened the members of the parliament “with a bullet in the head” (Levan Datunashvili, JAM News)
– Threatened and insulted the members of the parliament over the phone call (Salome Nikolaishvili, Zuka Berdzenishvili, Shame Movement)
– Attacked and insulted a member of parliament accompanied by his family in a public space (Mariam Tsitsikashvili, Grass/Factcheck).
“It is obvious that scenes of disturbed citizens staged for the media are, in fact, a part of a well-organized politically motivated campaign implemented on behalf of Europe. The donors, turning a blind eye to political extremism financed by them, attempt to norm the terror,” Shalva Papuashvili said.
