The number of people receiving driver's licenses in Georgia during the second quarter of 2023 amounted to 7, 299 up from 5, 746 from the Q1 2023 and down from 7, 969 from Q2 2022, according to the preliminary data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Out of total number of issued license during Q2 of the current year, 3, 315 were male, 2, 593 were female. Gender has not been identified for 730 license holders.
The number of issued licenses in the Q1 was 3, 289 for male, 1, 887 for female. No data was available for 570 persons.
According to 2022 statistics, a total of 30, 515 driving licenses were issued in Georgia. The number was 14, 344 for Q1 and 7, 969 for Q2 2022.
14, 917 were male, 13, 862 – female last year. Gender was not available for 1, 347.
