EAEU Monetary Policy Advisory Council Meeting Held in Yerevan

On December 2, the Central Bank of Armenia hosted the 27th meeting of the Monetary Policy Advisory Council, with participation from representatives of the central (national) banks of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states. The delegation from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan attended the event as an observer.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia's press service, the meeting covered a wide range of topics, including the current economic conditions in EAEU member states, the implementation of monetary policy, and the mandatory reserve systems in the union’s countries. Special attention was given to analyzing real estate market trends.

During the meeting, financial regulators exchanged experiences and discussed pressing challenges facing the EAEU economies. Participants noted that this format of cooperation fosters effective solutions in monetary policy and strengthens financial stability across the region.
