Preliminary sales have begun for the Eagle Hills Krtanisi residential project. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that despite opposition claims of $15,000 prices, the actual starting price for a renovated apartment was $1,650 per square meter, making the units accessible to the average Georgian buyer.
According to Kobakhidze, 257 apartments have been sold so far: 147 to Georgian citizens and 110 to foreigners. Of these, only 8 were purchased by citizens of Arab countries, contradicting claims of mass “Arabization” of the project.
He emphasized that the investment is significant for Georgia’s economy, contributing 11 billion GEL and generating an estimated 700 million GEL annually for the state budget, while also supporting tourism development.
Eagle Hills Georgia reported on February 3 that over 300 units had been sold, with almost 60% purchased by Georgian buyers, reflecting strong local demand and confidence in the project.
