International investment consultants, Jerry Szatan, on a working visit to Georgia as part of the USAID Economy Security Programme, said there were “a number of examples foreign companies had developed their activities in Georgia”, adding the “easiness to start a business in the country is one of the great advantages”.
"During these few days, I had the opportunity to talk with representatives of companies that were founded or moved here, and then went to international markets and attracted international investors. Their example proves that it is possible to develop a company in Georgia, which, I think, is a big plus for your country”, he said, stressing that “we would recommend investors to invest in the country”.
The consultants, who arrived in Georgia last week, are scheduled to visit Georgia’s eastern and western regions of Kakheti and Kutaisi, where they will meet representatives of various agencies and organizations, receive information and discuss investment opportunities in a number of industries.
