Tbilisi’s municipal company “Eco Service Group” has upgraded its specialized vehicle fleet by purchasing nearly 40 new vehicles and pieces of equipment to improve the maintenance of the city’s green spaces, according to the Tbilisi City Hall.
The newly acquired equipment includes 13 standard trucks, eight double-cabin trucks, seven minibuses, three cargo vehicles equipped with specialized spraying units, and four mobile workshop vans fitted with necessary tools. The company also purchased a grass seeding machine, specialized tree transplanting equipment, and 130 units of various gardening tools.
The City Hall said the upgraded fleet will significantly improve the efficiency, speed and scale of landscaping and maintenance works across Tbilisi. The new equipment will allow “Eco Service Group” to introduce more modern approaches to urban greening and better manage the city’s green areas.
The updated fleet was inspected by Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze together with “Eco Service Group” Director Vakhtang Nozadze. The municipality noted that the investment is part of efforts to improve the quality of maintenance of Tbilisi’s parks and public green spaces.
