Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili met with Marika Olson, USAID / Economic Growth Office Director, Mark McCord, the Head of the USAID Economic Security Program and other representatives of the program.
At the meeting, Levan Davitashvili thanked the US government and the American people for contribution to the development of Georgia's economy through USAID and the Economic Security Program, overcoming the challenges created by the pandemic and other global events.
The projects that were implemented by various structural subdivisions of the Ministry with the support of the USAID Economic Security Program were discussed. Among them, in such sectors as tourism, innovation, investment attraction, export promotion, entrepreneurship development, digitalization, transport and others.
