The Armenian government hosted the third meeting of the EU-Armenia Investment Coordination Platform, co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos.

Participants focused on discussing key infrastructure initiatives, including the "Caucasus Electricity Transmission Network" program, the construction of the "Sisian-Kajaran" segment of the North-South Highway, and the "Sustainable Syunik" credit program.

Special attention was given to new initiatives under the "Resilience and Growth" plan.

The meeting, held on November 27, was attended by representatives of the Armenian government, the EU delegation in Armenia, and international financial organizations.

Earlier, BMG reported that the EU is launching a major support program for Armenia, titled "Resilience and Development," with a budget of €270 million over four years. Additionally, targeted grants for judicial reform and education will be allocated in 2025.

The financial support aims to develop Armenia's economy and enhance its resilience. The European Union plans to invest in Armenian businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, to help them grow and expand into new markets, explained the EU delegation.
