As part of strengthening Armenian-German relations, Armenia is welcoming another high-level delegation from Germany. From November 20 to 22, a delegation led by Anton Hofreiter, Chairman of the Bundestag Committee on European Union Affairs, is visiting Yerevan.
The visit of the German parliamentarians, organized in coordination with Armenia’s National Assembly, includes a three-day program of meetings and negotiations.
Notably, the Bundestag delegation’s visit comes almost immediately after the official visit of Germany’s Foreign Minister.
Just a few days ago, on November 19, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock held talks in Yerevan aimed at expanding Armenia’s cooperation with the European Union.
During her meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, agreements were reached to further develop the partnership.
The ministers emphasized that the new cooperation agenda between Armenia and the EU builds on existing collaboration while also envisioning significant expansion into new areas.
