According to the National Wine Agency, the export price of Georgian wine increased in 2025. The agency says the rise in the average export price indicates that Georgian wine is strengthening its position in the premium segment.
As stated in the agency’s press release, in 2025 the average export price per liter of Georgian wine rose to $2.98, up from $2.91 in 2024.
Among strategic markets, the highest average export price per liter of Georgian wine is recorded in the United States - $6.17. It is followed by Japan - $5.77, South Korea - $5.26, the United Kingdom - $5.19, Germany - $4.73, China - $3.14, and Poland - $2.5.
“The National Wine Agency is actively working to further improve the quality of Georgian wine, which should naturally lead to a continued increase in the average export price. In a highly competitive global market, Georgian wine must be distinctive, of exceptional quality, and possess unique characteristics. This effort must start in the vineyard and continue throughout the production process,” said Levan Mekhuzla, Chairman of the National Wine Agency.
