Keti Dolidze, one of the founders of the strawberry greenhouse "Mageme", notes that according to this year's forecast, the harvest will exceed last year's amount.
"We have an even better start this year. We expect to take more than 20 tons of strawberries this year", says Keti Dolidze.
According to her, "Mageme" has no problem selling strawberries, because in addition to selling the crop, the farm also offers agro-tours to the guests who come to the site, within the framework of which school and kindergarten students get the experience of picking strawberries along with excursions.
In the local market, "Mageme" strawberries are sold in the digital market of Moitane.ge, as well as Nikora chains and agro-stores. According to the founder, one of the main directions of the company since its foundation has been digital sales and home delivery service, so strawberries can be purchased on Glovo and Volt.
"Mageme" strawberry greenhouse was set up in 2021 with the grant of the "Agricultural Production Promotion" program and preferential agro-credit. Last year, the farm was expanded with an investment of GEL 350,000. Today, Mageme has a total of 40,000 strawberry seedlings in two greenhouses.
