In 1Q2023, 4,347 tons of juice worth USD 5.153 million were exported from Georgia in the period of January-March.
The exporting value of products is 77% higher than the data of 1Q2022, and the volume has also increased by 77%.
Russia continues to be the leader among exporting markets, where natural juice worth USD 2.130 million were exported in the period of January-March. According to Geostat, exports to Russia have increased by 209% compared to 1Q2022.
According to 1Q, TOP-5 exporting markets are as follows:
Russia - USD 2,130,070 - 1,956 tons
Germany - USD 987,340 - 915 tons
USA - USD 774,890 - 586 tons
Japan - USD 429,360 - 242 tons
Australia - USD 263,510 - 251 tons.
As for the data of 2022, 13,252 tons of natural juice worth USD 15.539 million were exported from Georgia last year.
According to Geostat, during the last year, the export value of products was almost 30% higher than in 2021, and the volume increased by 38%.
Even then, Russia was still the leader among the exporting countries. In 2022, natural juice worth USD 3.566 million was exported to Russia.
The second largest exporting market was Germany, where natural juices worth USD 3.547 million were exported last year.
