External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 16.6 billion in January-September 2023, 16.6% higher year-on-year, - according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
As of the document, the value of exports increased by 12.7% reaching USD 46 billion, while the imports increased 18.3% and amounted to USD 11.3 billion.
The trade deficit equaled USD 6 705.1 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 42.1%.
