External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 21 529.1 million in 2023, 12.5% higher year-on-year, the Georgian National Statistic Service (GeoStat) reported.
The value of exports increased by 9.1% reaching USD 6 090.6 million, while the imports increased 14.0 percent and amounted to USD 15 438.5 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 9 347.8 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 43.4%.
