Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Resident Representative in Georgia, Shane Rosenthal and ADB’s Director of the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department, Bruce Dunn.
The parties discussed bilateral and regional cooperation issues.
The ADB plans to upgrade the 2009 security policy provisions comprising the assessments of the environmental impact and social risks as well as prevention of pollution, the efficiency of resources, biodiversity, cultural heritage and sustainable management of natural resources.
The meeting aimed to acquaint the interested stakeholders with the new policy trends so that each country could actively participate in its discussion. Georgia pledged cooperation in the process.
