Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili met with Yingming Yang, Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), who is visiting Georgia.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Finance Minister Ekaterine Guntsadze and Lesley Bearman Lahm, ADB’s Country Director for Georgia.
The parties discussed the successful partnership between Georgia and the ADB, reviewing ongoing and future projects supported by the Bank. Minister Khutsishvili expressed gratitude for ADB’s significant contribution to Georgia’s sustainable economic development.
Discussions also covered Georgia’s current economic situation and medium-term outlook.
Vice President Yang reaffirmed the ADB’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Georgia, emphasizing the country’s strategic importance both bilaterally and regionally, and expressed optimism for further deepening of the partnership in the future.
